Extractive Resources

The Neumann Group of Companies has diverse business interests including civil construction, mineral sands, quarry materials, concrete production and reinforcing steel. As such, we are actively engaged in the sourcing of potential resources for the construction industry.

The primary focus of our acquisitions is properties that are currently zoned for extractive industry and/or identified as “Key Resource Areas” by the Queensland Government.

Properties which have proven reserves of sand suitable concrete production and/or backfill applications are sought after, as are proven deposits of rock suitable for road construction and concrete aggregate.

Neumann Contractors Pty Ltd is also a highly regarded world leader in the dredging industry is capable of cost effectively extracting sand using hydraulic slurry methods.

We purchase extractive properties outright, develop properties in joint venture with land owners, and/or enter into royalty lease agreements.

Corridor Sands - Woongoolba Sand Project

This site is located off Marks Road Woongoolba and comprises approximately 50 hectares of land currently zoned for Extractive Industry.

The property has a substantial reserve of river sand which is suitable for use in the concrete and asphalt production.
